Total Green Deal Solar PV
If you do the total Green Deal and instal Solar PV systems and other, I think the government is talking about 100,000 jobs being created in the private sector as a result of it.
Vicky: Incredible.
David: So everyone wins. The homeowner wins, the industry wins and we create wealth for the economy.
Vicky: Yeah.
George: I think that’s what’s really exciting about this whole thing for me, is seeing a real shift in the industry to say, “Well, how can ecology and sustainability pay and push the building industry on even more?” Really kind of stimulates some growth back in the industry, which is what we need.
Vicky: Yeah.
George: So, rather than just saying, “Use less, use less, use less,” which we do a bit. We recycle more and we try to use a bit less, but actually we need a much bigger, fundamental change in how things are funded from an ecological point of view.
